Nonprofit Board Service: Aligning Your Passion and Profession

CONNECT WITH NAWBO COLUMBUS & BOOST YOUR BUSINESS!

Professional women get asked to serve on nonprofit boards often but which board should they join - especially aligned with their interests, skills, time, and resources - can be a daunting decision. Join us as we walk through how to determine what board to join, how board service aligns with personal and professional growth, and what women should consider before making a commitment. Nonprofit board service is a way to develop as leaders and to grow networks, which is especially important for women business owners.

Join us to:

  • Understand nonprofit board governance;
  • Learn how to align board service with personal and professional goals;
  • Assess personal "why" statements to determine the right board fit; and
  • Grow community impact by adding your expertise to nonprofit boards.
