Creating Stronger Teams Through Professional Relationships and J.O.Y.
Building a strong, healthy, and high-performing team requires more than shared goals—it requires trust, inclusion, and intentional relationship-building. Join NAWBO Columbus as we explore how inclusive leadership practices and the J.O.Y. framework—Judgment-free zones, Ownership, and Yearning—help create the conditions where every team member can thrive. Participants will uncover practical strategies for fostering psychological safety, strengthening professional relationships, and cultivating a team culture rooted in accountability and growth.
Through guided discussion and reflective activities, we will examine how communication styles, relational habits, and leadership behaviors shape belonging and overall team performance. We will also explore how the A.R.C. model—Accountability, Responsibility, and a Culture of Feedback—supports healthy team dynamics and enhances organizational wellbeing.
Join us to:
- Discuss what it means to have an inclusive team and identify the conditions needed to make this possible.
- Examine the role professional relationships play in team performance, psychological safety, and overall wellness.
- Learn how different communication styles show up on a team and how they shape individuals’ experiences of belonging.
- Explore how the A.R.C. (Accountability, Responsibility, and Culture of Feedback) framework supports workplace belonging and contributes to healthy, high-performing teams.
Join us to learn how intentional leadership and relationship-centered practices can transform your team into a cohesive, resilient, and supportive community.
Registration Closes Monday, January 5th at 12pm.

Jennifer founded Abundance Leadership Consulting to facilitate connections
and to break down systems hampering social impact. Her entrepreneurial journey was born out of her own experiences of feeling overworked, stressed, and isolated in previous roles. Having worked over 20 years in for-profit and national nonprofit sectors that provided different forms of client engagement and training, Jennifer saw how organizations were often hindered by disconnects. This inspired her to found ALC to help organizations and teams not just perform better, but to see themselves as part of a larger community ecosystem.
Jennifer pairs her 20+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Jennifer also has her certification in Mergers and Acquisitions from the Wharton School of Business. Her educational background, along with her years of experience in creating high-performing teams, provides her with unique expertise to lead ALC.
